Whole-Wheat Banana Pancakes with Berry Sauce

what you need
  • 2 cups fresh or thawed mixed berries
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 mashed ripe banana
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 Tbsp. melted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup whole-wheat pancake mix
make it
Puree the fresh or thawed mixed berries with sugar; set aside.

Whisk together the banana, milk, butter, and egg until smooth. Stir in the whole-wheat pancake mix until moistened.

Drop silver-dollar spoonfuls of batter onto a preheated lightly buttered griddle. Cook 2 to 3 minutes per side. Drizzle berry sauce on top.
Serve with turkey bacon.
