Smokey Mesquite Pork Chops with Couscous Salad Visual Preparation Steps

What You Need

  • 6 boneless pork chops (1-1/2 lb.), 1/2 inch thick
  • 1 pkg. (6 oz.) FRESH TAKE Smokey Mesquite BBQ Recipe Cheese Breadcrumb Mix, mixed together
  • 2 cups cooked couscous
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup chopped dried apricots
  • 1/4 cup PLANTERS Sliced Almonds, toasted
  • 1/4 cup KRAFT Honey Mustard Dressing
  • 2 Tbsp. dried cranberries

Make It

  1. Heat oven to 375ºF. Coat chops with cheese mixture as directed on package; place on foil-covered baking sheet sprayed with cooking spray.
  2. Bake 25 to 30 min. or until done (150ºF).
  3. Combine remaining ingredients. Serve with chops.

Prepare using boneless skinless chicken breasts, and reducing the baking time to 20 to 25 min. or until chicken is done (165ºF).
How to Purchase Pork
When purchasing pork, look for meat that is moist and attractively pink; it should not look gray or red. Compared to beef, pork has very little marbling. Exterior fat should be smooth and white.
