  • Dissolve yeast in water. Heat milk, sugar, salt, and 2 Tbsp. margarine to lukewarm. Remove from stove and put in a large bowl. Add yeast mixture and flour; mix well. Dough should be consistency which can be handled but somewhat sticky. I usually add another 1/4 cup of flour for handling. Allow dough to set for 15 minutes in a warm place.
  • Turn dough out onto a well floured surface. Pat to about 3/4 inch thickness and cut out with a biscuit cutter. Fold each roll in half and place a pat of butter in the middle. Pinch edges together. Place on a greased baking sheet and allow to rise 15 minutes.
  • Bake at 400 degrees F for 10 minutes.
