  • Prepare stuffing mix and included seasoning packet in large mixing bowl with amount of warm water, vegetable or chicken broth that package directions call for. (Do not add the butter.)
  • Add remaining ingredients to bowl and mix together (hands work best for this - kids love to flake the crab meat and mash the mixture together).
  • Form into 1/2" thick palm sized cakes or 1/2" thick smaller appetizer-sized cakes. Lightly brown in medium-hot skillet with enough oil to keep cakes from sticking to pan. Serve!


I sometimes serve with a quick and easy roumelade sauce for dipping. To make this easy sauce, just combine 1/2 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing, 3 Tablespoons ketchup, and chili powder to taste.
