  • Slowly stir the cake mix into the pineapple and blend. (Do not add anything else. Do not add the water called for on the cake mix box.)
  • Pour into ungreased 9 x 13 pan or angel food cake pan.
  • Bake as directed. (Baking until a darker brown will help prevent falling.)

Notes

Cake is very moist. Do not turn upside down to cool as it could fall out of pan. Serve with low-fat Cool Whip and a maraschino cherry. You can frost cake with Cool Whip and refrigerate. It is also good with strawberries.
