I can each summer and made Apple Butter for the first time last year. My son-in-law loved it and took most of what I had preserved. I had 4 pints left over and wanted to use it before this summer's canning. I remembered my grandmother making apple butter muffins when I was a child and asked my Aunt for the recipe. She didn't remember so I did trial and error. I only had one error and this is the final result. They come out moist and they smell heavenly.
