  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. In med bowl, gently toss apple slices with spices to coat. Spread into a butter-coated pie plate.
  • In same bowl, mix together eggs, milk, sugar and baking mix until well blended. Mix in butter (mixture will be lumpy from butter). Pour over apples.
  • In another med bowl, stir together baking mix & sugar, cut in butter with fork until blended (small dry lumps are formed) stir in chopped nuts. Sprinkle topping mixture liberally over apples.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes or until lightly browned.


Although satisfying & delicious all by itself, try serving warm with a dollop of Cool Whip (or your favorite whipped topping) or a scoop of your favorite vanilla ice cream! Also, since this is kinda like a cobbler, I believe it will work well with almost any fruit/nut combo, like peach, or berry... or how about Hawaiian-with pineapple & macadamia nuts!
