  • Slice bacon into small strips (best done if bacon is slightly frozen) --- cook til done but not crunchy --- drain on paper towel.
  • Cut tomatoes eliminating seeds (best to use Roma tomatoes or else tomatoes that are more meaty than juicy) --- dice into small pieces about the size of large peas. Chop green onions until very fine or put through food chopper. (Optional)
  • Mix all ingredients saving tomatoes to add last.

Special Equipment Needed


Serve with crackers, chips, or just about anything. I made a triple batch of it for a potluck at work and served it with wheat crackers --- there was none left to bring home. Can add more bacon for a more bacon-flavor dip. Can add 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese for a Cheesy BLT dip. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate till ready to serve.
