  • Combine jelly and mustard and whisk until smooth. Drain liquid from water chestnuts. Cut the bacon strips in two.
  • Tightly wrap a chestnut with the bacon and secure with a toothpick. Place in a baking pan. I use a baking stone pan so I don't have to spray with oil. If using a glass or other baking pan lightly spray with cooking spray. Once all water chestnuts are wrapped and placed in pan, cover all chestnuts with the jelly/mustard combination.
  • Bake in 425°F oven for 45 minutes or until bacon looks to your eating preference (we like the bacon pretty done so we cook for the 45 minutes).


Will be VERY hot. Let cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before eating.
