  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Heat OJ, honey and brown sugar in a saucepan on medium heat until warm. Take off burner and add in canola oil and vanilla extract. Stir.
  • While that’s heating, in a large bowl combine oats, almonds and fruit bits. Pour OJ mixture over oat mixture and toss, making sure to mix it well.
  • Spread mixture in an aluminum foil lined cookie sheet (to reduce clean-up). Place in oven and bake for 10 minutes, stir it well then put it back in the oven for another 15-20 minutes or until lightly toasted. Let cool completely then place in two or three zipper sandwich bags.


Great as a light snack or mixed in with plain yogurt. Great for kids, especially on the go!
