  • 1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Bring a large pot (4-6 quarts) of water to a boil over high heat.
  • 2. Heat the oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Cook ground beef, breaking into small pieces. After the beef has browned, add the garlic and reduce heat to medium. Saute until tender, about 2 minutes longer. Using a slotted spoon, transfer the cooked beef and garlic mixture to a very large bowl.
  • 3. Add the olives, tomatoes, and half of the cheese (2 cups mozzarella and 1/2 cup parmesan) to the beef and garlic mixture and toss to combine.
  • 4. Meanwhile, add the salt to the boiling water, and then add the angel hair pasta. Cook 5 minutes. Drain. Add the cooked angel hair and the tomato sauce to the bowl and toss with the other ingredients to combine.
  • 5. Spoon pasta mixture into a lightly greased, large (13x9-inch, 3 qt.) glass baking dish. Sprinkle remaining cheese (1 1/2 – 2 cups mozzarella and 1/2 cup Parmesan) evenly over the top.
  • 6. Bake 30-35 minutes at 375 degrees F, until cheese is melted and slightly browned, and sauce is bubbly.


If you are in a hurry, you can increase the heat to 400 degrees F and cook for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the sauce is bubbly. Great substitute: you can also use 1 cup Kraft Shredded Parmesan, Romano, and Asiago Cheeses for a slightly more robust flavor.
