  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Rinse tomato and cut off stem. With a paring knife, going horizontally and all the way around the tomato, stick the knife through the tomato on a slant (like this: / /) leaving a knife's width between each cut. Then repeat, but connecting the cuts (like this: \ \).
  • Separate the halves and place in a greased metal pan. Top with bleu cheese, then your choice of shredded cheese.
  • Bake for 20 minutes, or until cheese begins to brown. The longer it bakes, the juicier the tomato!

The cut of the tomato allows the cheese to not fall off. Plus it makes a fancy (and quick!) presentation!
