  • Heat gravy and pour over steaks.

Very easy to make and tastes just like chicken fried steak without the fat and frying mess.

Made this tonight, SO easy and SO delicious. I used about 1.39lb. of beef cubed steak, about 4-5 pieces. I rinsed them first, I read mixed thoughts on THAT but I rinsed them anyway, patted them dry with paper towels, and coated them with one packet of Shake & Bake, in the bag, one at a time. I put a couple of teaspoons butter in my pan (& melted it) which was lined with non stick foil, baked the steaks for 35 minutes & then kept them in the oven on warm until I finished the gravy & my peas. I also used peppered gravy like the other reviewer. I will absolutely be ****** this again.

tried this out then looked it up to see if there was a recipe for this and found this one. It helped determine what temp and how long to cook. great way to make chicken fried steak. We use country gravy package makes two cups, or we use peppered gravy in package, although you can make home made very easily. This is the only way my friend will eat cubed steak now. I have tried homemade frying and all, he says its not as good.we half the recipe and make three steaks
