  • Preheat oven to 425°F. Brown sausage and ground beef in a large skillet. Boil water then place mostaccioli noodles in boiling water until thoroughly cooked. Drain the sausage and ground beef. Place the meats back in the skillet now and add the pasta sauce to the meats in the skillet. Cook on medium temperature. Drain the mostaccioli noodles then place butter in colander with the noodles and stir around until melted.
  • Spoon some of the meat sauce into an 11 x 9 casserole pan just enough to thoroughly cover the bottom of the pan. Add the mostaccioli noodles to the casserole pan and cover with the remaining meat sauce. Stir the mostaccioli and meat sauce then cover with the mozzarella cheese.
  • Now place in oven for 7 to 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted evenly.
