My child loves this once a week as a special treat but it's easy enough to do even on a busy morning. Older children can do this recipe very easily.
You can make up your own variations instead of banana like 1/2 cup cherry pie filling, or apple pie filling. Add whip cream or powdered sugar as extra topping.
Make it healthy by using low carb bread/low fat milk/ light syrup with fresh fruit.
This was soooo good, the bananas added such depth to the flavor. I used egg beaters, ww bread, and sugar free syrup and it was awesome. I only used about 2-3 T syrup but it was for one serving.
Very quick, easy to make and delicious. I will definately be making this again, especially since my 1 1/2 year old also loved it.
