  • Place pork roast in 4.5 qt crock-pot. Cover; cook on LOW 10-12 hrs or HIGH 5-6 hrs.
  • Remove pork roast from stoneware and discard any liquid; shred pork with two forks; return pork to stoneware. Add BBQ sauce, lemon juice, brown sugar, and onion; mix well.
  • Cook on LOW 2 hours or HIGH 1 hour. Serve on rolls.

Notes

Top each serving with a slice of American cheese. Substitute 4 boneless chicken breasts and lower cooking time to 6-8 hours for LOW.
