  • Cook bacon until crispy, but not burnt. Remove bacon from pan and set aside on a paper towel.
  • Season chicken to taste with Montreal chicken seasoning, then cook in the same pan as the bacon, until done (the bacon grease, if you used pork bacon, gives the chicken a nice flavor). Add barbecue sauce to the chicken and stir to coat chicken evenly.
  • Use a fork, or a food processor, to shred the chicken. Crumble bacon into the chicken mixture and mix well.
  • Build your sandwich with your bread, cheese, ranch dressing, etc.


I like to use Texas Toast. I butter the bread on one side and toast it in my broiler. Then lay the cheese and ranch on the buttered side before I add the chicken. The sandwich is also good with Pepper Jack, if you like an extra kick. Tasty stuff!
