Barbequed Corn Beef Brisket

  • Preheat grill. Place brisket on grill and braise- be sure to turn often so meat does not burn.
  • Use aluminum foil- 3 layers, long enough pieces to completely wrap the brisket. Place half of the sauerkraut on foil. After meat is browned nicely, place brisket on top of foil & kraut. Then top brisket with the remaining sauerkraut. Wrap tightly- all three layers.
  • Place back on grill at medium heat for about 2 more hours, turning occasionally. Remove from grill- allow meat to sit and then slice cross-grain into thin slices to serve!
