  • Place roast in crock-pot. Spoon cream of mushroom soup over roast, then sprinkle dry onion soup mix on top. Pour beer over and in with roast. Cook in crock-pot for 4 hours on high.
  • Meanwhile you will need to rinse then cut potatoes into what looks like a large bite size. Also cut onion up (no need to be fussy, it softens when in crock pot). You can mix the potato pieces, onion, and baby carrots in a bowl and store in refrigerator until time to add to roast.
  • After the 4 hours is up, toss in the veggies. Cook for about 2 more hours on high, or until the meat is very tender and potatoes are soft and on the edge of mushy. Serves like a stew, and depending on your cut of roast, the meat breaks apart easily and has little or no fatty pieces.


Great reheated! Almost better! Also, use a crock-pot liner when cooking! Makes clean-up SO easy!
