  • In a bowl, beat egg whites until frothy. In another bowl, combine bread crumbs and parmesan. Lightly spray a cookie sheet with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Cut each cheese stick in half (package contains 12 sticks, should have 24 sticks after slicing). Coat sticks in egg white, then in bread crumb mixture. Repeat (you want the sticks to be well coated). After sticks are coated, place in freezer for 2 hours or up to 2 days.
  • Bake mozzarella sticks at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes (watch closely so the sticks don't burn). Serve with your favorite dipping sauce --- ranch, marinara, or barbecue!

Special Equipment Needed


This is much healthier than deep fried versions and just as tasty! Leaving out the yolk in this recipe also makes it healthier!
