  • Combine flour, salt, pepper, and paprika in bowl or Ziploc bag. Then add meat, coat well.
  • Heat oil in large skillet. Add coated meat and any extra flour mixture. Brown meat. Add mushrooms, onion and chicken broth.
  • Simmer over low heat for 1- 1 1/2 hour. Stir occasionally. Sauce will thicken, so you may add water to your likening. Add sour cream. Serve over hot noodles.

Special Equipment Needed


This can also be served over rice. My family likes more mushrooms, so I will add an extra 8 oz. When coating meat I put it in the Ziploc bag, a little at a time, and shake. When I have time, I make homemade noodles, it adds a little something. Taking the round steak right out of the freezer and slicing makes it much easier.
