  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large Dutch oven, saute onions in butter. When onions are translucent, sprinkle it with flour and stir. Cook mixture for 2-3 minutes.
  • Slowly stir in chicken broth, milk and seasonings. Continue to stir and cook until thickened. Add mixed vegetable and diced chicken. Cook until hot. Taste and adjust seasonings if necessary.
  • Pour mixture into al 13 x 9 pan and top with biscuits.
  • Cook in oven for 30 minutes.

Notes

The seasonings are a guess because I eyeball it and adjust if needed before baking. The milk (even fat free milk) adds a richness to the sauce, but this recipe can be made with all chicken broth.
