  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Mix cream cheese with egg yolks, sugar and vanilla. When well blended, add cottage cheese and set aside.
  • Combine sour cream, butter, orange peel, juice and eggs, one at a time until well blended. Mix in flour, sugar and baking powder until fully incorporated.
  • Spread 1/2 of batter in 9 by 13-inch baking dish. Place dollops of cheese mixture on top of batter. Spread remaining batter on top.
  • Bake for approximately 45 minutes or until cake is puffy and golden. Serve with blueberry sauce or strawberries!


This is very addictive!!!! My children and my husband LOVE it!!! ENJOY!

    While the flavor was just OK, it seemed like the batter was thin when putting it in the baking dish. sure enough, after an hour in the oven, it was still runny, more like a flan. If I try this again I would add more flour to give this dish body. The top was dark golden before the inside was cooked.
