  • 1. In a pan add ghee/refined oil & heat it. When oil is hot, cut the bread into 2 equal halves & deep fry it until golden brown. Then remove the breads from the pan.
  • 2. Meanwhile in a vessel add sugar & pour water little above the level of sugar. Put it on medium heat & keep stirring until it becomes thick (syrup). Then add the fried bread pieces into the syrup.
  • 3. After sometime (until the bread absorbs the syrup) remove the bread from the syrup & put them on a plate. On each piece of bread spread the condensed milk & garnish with almonds/cashew nuts/pista/elachi. Now it's ready to serve.

Special Equipment Needed


1. You can use almonds/cashew nuts/pista/elachi - it's your choice. 2. Cut them into pieces. 3. You can use either refined oil or ghee for deep frying the bread. 4. It's better to use sweet bread. 5. Use can you either condense milk made at home or readily available in the market.
