  • Preheat oven and bake brownies according to package directions. Cool brownies completely. Prepare mousse according to package directions. Refrigerate until brownies are cooled.
  • In a large glass bowl, break up 1/2 of the cooled brownies into small bite size pieces and put in bottom of bowl. (I cut the harder edges from around the brownies and did not use these.) Spread 1/2 of the mousse on top of the brownies, followed by 1/3 pkg. toffee bits, then 1/2 container of Cool Whip. Repeat layers again, ending with 1/3 Toffee bits on top for garnish.
  • Refrigerate. (I make this the night before and refrigerate until ready to serve).


Everywhere I bring this, I am asked for the recipe. I brought it to work and now every time there is a birthday or special occasion at work, I am asked to bring "The Brownie" dessert. It is a chocolate lover's delight, rich and delicious. I've even seen people scrapping the bowl to get the very last bite!
