  • Preheat the oven to 450°F. Sift the flour, baking soda, and salt into large mixing bowl. Add the softened butter and stir well. Add milk gradually, until a soft butter-like dough is formed.
  • Roll or press dough to 1/2 inch think on slightly floured board. Cut with floured biscuit cutter or the rim of a glass. Brush melted butter on the top of each biscuit.
  • Place the biscuits on an ungreased baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes.

Special Equipment Needed
