  • Bring both the butter and margarine to room temperature. Place into large mixing bowl. Beat until well blended.
  • S L O W L Y...pour the milk into the butter and blend, a little at a time. Beat well after each addition. At first, it may not seem to want to incorporate the milk, but it will!
  • Once you have used the entire can of milk, you scoop the butter blend into your own containers and refrigerate.
  • Produces about 3 one pound containers in volume.

Special Equipment Needed


The whole batch will taste like the very freshest butter, it will also be spreadable out of the refrigerator so may be placed on the table last thing. Tastes great on veggies, breads etc. But do not use for frying or cooking as the milk will separate. Having the still chilled but spreadable butter on your dinner table will have people asking you how you did it.....just smile, and tell them you're glad they like it!!
