  • **In small bowl combine cracker crumbs and butter; press into bottom of a greased 9" springform pan. Bake 10 minutes at 350 degrees F; remove and cool on wire rack. Reduce temperature to 325 degrees F.
  • In mixing bowl beat cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. Add eggs; beat on low just until combined. Add onion, lemon juice, seasonings, hot pepper sauce; beat just till combined; then fold in chicken. Pour-over crust or line bottom with parchment paper if omitting the crackers.
  • Bake 35-40 minutes or until center is almost set (don't overcook). Cool on a wire rack for approx 10 minutes. Carefully run a knife around edge to loosen. Cool another hour.
  • While baking or up to 1 day in advance, mix 1/2 cup sour cream with dry salad dressing, salt, pepper, and paprika (can kick it up with a little fresh ginger and Tabasco). Flavors combine best if made ahead! Spread cooled cake with topping and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.
  • Remove from fridge and let stand at room temp for 1/2 hour. Serve with assorted crackers and vegetable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This recipe sounds incredible. This recipe sounds incredible. I'm not much of a cook and I just throw things together either in a crockpot or cook it in the oven. So, I'm asking the great cooks on here how much time would I need to cook this either in a crockpot or in the oven if the meat is not browned ahead of time?

I serve it with mexican rice, refried beans, and a helping of lettuce and sour cream! And the left over beans and salsa are great chip dip! Love!

I am not a fan of black beans or the rice I fixed with it, but together with the chicken and salsa, it was great!! I used white cheese as I can not handle yellow cheese. It was very good. I also cooked the chicken to begin with in Zesty Italian Dressing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I enjoyed this recipe but would make a couple of changes. I enjoyed this recipe but would make a couple of changes. I would add frozen corn kernels to the salsa/bean sauce. I would also simmer the sauce a little longer so that is gets a little thicker. I am going to try salsa verde next time. But do enjoy!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I was pleasantly surprised. I was pleasantly surprised. I used a garlic salsa and cut the chicken in slices. After it was cooked I put it on tortillas w/ sour cream and it was really good. I think I will add black olives and maybe mushrooms next time. really good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super fast to make! Super fast to make! I used chicken tenders instead and seasoned them with Southwestern seasoning and garlic powder. It was a huge hit!! Served it with Spanish Rice and used tomatos with green chilis to prepare that. Great recipe!! <3

Rated 4 out of 5 by from This was super tasty and simple to make. This was super tasty and simple to make. I sprinkled a little taco seasoning on the chicken before cooking it. Next time I may slice up the chicken and serve it in tortillas as many of you suggested. Sounds like a great idea!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Quick, easy and tasty meal that my husband, younger son, and I like. Quick, easy and tasty meal that my husband, younger son, and I like. I just wish my older son wouldn't be so picky, cause even with the good ingredients and letting him watch me making it, it still refused to even try it. :)
