  • Rise fish with water and lime juice. Season fish with 1/2 a packet of sazon, adobo, and black pepper to taste.
  • Heat 1/4 cup of oil in a frying pan, fry fish on both sides. Cut and rinse peppers and onions then season with adobo, remaining sasson and pepper (add hot pepper to taste).
  • Using a nonstick pan, heat the pan, add 1/4 cup of oil, stir fry the vegetables. Remove fish from the oil, drain and add to the vegetables. Add 1/4 cup of water and let steam for 10 minutes.
  • Boil water as per the directions on the rice.
  • (Optional - add sazon to rice for yellow coloring.)
  • Place rice on the plates. Place one fish and a lot of vegetables on top of the fish. Spoon some of the gravy in the pan on to the fish.
