  • Brown sausage and mince. Drain well.
  • Add stock, spices & milk. Bring to a slow boil.
  • Add potatoes & kale. Simmer together until the potatoes are tender (2 hours or so).

    I followed the recipe but after I browned the sausage I put everything in the crockpot and cooked it on high for 4 hours. It came out very good but I would wait to add the evaporated milk about 1/2 way through the cooking time so it stays milk like next time. This soup had the same kind of taste as the soup from Olve Garden.
