  • Place the rack in the middle of the oven and preheat to 350 degrees F. In a pot with boiling salted water, place the cauliflower and broccoli florets and let them boil uncovered for about 2-3 minutes or until just crisp-tender. Drain the florets and wash them in cold water to stop the cooking process.
  • Butter an 8-inch round baking dish or 8x8x2-inch square one. In a bowl, mix the sour cream with the eggs. Place half of the florets in the dish, sprinkle with salt and pepper, parmesan cheese and half of the bread crumbs, and pour 1/2 of the sour cream mix over them and toss gently together. Repeat with the rest of florets and the other ingredients until the dish is full.
  • Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes, then sprinkle with the grated cheese and bake again for another 5 minutes, until cheese melted and bubbly. Serve immediately.


You can use the 1 lb. bags of mixed frozen cauliflower & broccoli. It's excellent with oven baked or rotisserie chicken.
