  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease 9x13 inch pan. In a large bowl, combine first 5 ingredients. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  • Press mixture evenly into prepared pan.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool completely. Cut into bars.

    my kids love these bars. I add ground flaxseed and only 1/2 cup brown sugar. I also replace the corn syrup for honey sometimes. I use mini chocolate chips too, they stay in better

    This recipe is pretty good and the bars are chewy, not in a bad way. However, for "added" ingredients I only used 1/2 cup chocolate chips and 1/2 coconut and I baked it in a 9 by 9 pan as there wasn't enough batter to use the bigger size. Overall, these bars were tasty and I will make again. Thanks for sharing the recipe!
