  • Put water for pasta up to boil. Melt butter about 2 tablespoons in large fry pan (12-inch is good). Put sliced mushrooms, Prosciutto, and some chopped garlic into pan and saute till mushrooms are done; remove.
  • Add more butter and put bite sized cut up chicken which has been dredged in flour, with chopped garlic into pan. Cook till chicken is slightly browned then put mushrooms and Prosciutto back into fry pan; mix well. Add broth and wine let come to a boil so it thickens. Simmer for 20 minutes covered.
  • Meanwhile cook your pasta al dente since it will be mixed in with the chicken mixture once you have mixed the pasta in to coat, the dish is done except for the cream and grated cheese keeping the heat lower so it does not boil again add the cream and mix gently.

Voila you are all done. Serve and enjoy one of the best one dish meals I have ever tasted. This meal is great because you can make it for a large crowd just by increasing the amounts equally.
