  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Cream together softened cream cheese, butter, thyme, garlic powder, and pepper. Mix chopped cooked chicken and mushrooms in to cream cheese mixture.
  • Open crescent rolls and flatten out each triangle. Spoon mixture on to wide part of triangle. Roll up from wide end. Tuck sides over to close. Melt butter and roll each chicken stuffed crescent roll in the butter, then in the stuffing mixture. For healthier option use no butter or 1 egg beaten instead of butter.
  • Put on cookie sheet or in a baking dish and bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes (or until desired doneness). Top with chicken soup thinned down with milk to a gravy consistency, heated through.

Puffs can be frozen before baking and cooked as needed.
