  • Mix cream cheese, vanilla extract, and butter in mixing bowl until fluffy. Add brown and confectioners’ sugar gradually just until mixed. Fold in chocolate chips.
  • Put in fridge covered for about 1 1/2 hours. Once chilled pour mixture on a large piece of plastic wrap, shape into ball. Place back in fridge until about 15 minutes before your ready to serve.
  • Cover with pecans and eat spread on graham crackers.

Notes

Instead of putting in plastic wrap, I go ahead and place my nuts on it and shape into a ball. Then I put my plastic wrap over it to hold the shape in place, then put a bowl over it so it will chill better (tight fitting bowl).
