  • Preheat oven to 350 F. Spray pan. Combine butter with both sugars in mixing bowl until creamy. Add egg and vanilla; mix well. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt; mix well. Divide dough in half. On prepared baking sheet, shape each half into 10' x 6' rectangles about 3 inches apart. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup chocolate chips; press in lightly.
  • Bake 15 - 18 minutes or until a light golden brown. Cool 5 min. Cut with a serrated knife into 1 inch strips; cut each strip in half. Remove to cooling grip, cool completely.
  • In microwave safe bowl, melt remaining chocolate chips. Dip cookies halfway into melted chocolate. Place on cooling grid over waxed paper to dry.
