I make these every year for the Christmas Eve celebration at my dad's house, hence the name.
Sometimes I sprinkle shredded Swiss cheese, along with a little pimiento, on top before baking - nice festive touch.
If you don't want to mess with the pie crust, prepare the sausage and cream cheese mixture as above. Spread into 8x8 square pan, and bake for 15 minutes, or until bubbly. Serve with your favorite crackers.
