  • In the same size glass cooking pans, you will chill each color of Jell-O then at the end you'll put then on top of each other to make a wonderful Christmas Jell-O with all the Christmas colors.
  • In the green Jell-O dish add the hot water to make the Jell-O as needed on the box of Jell-O then the cold. Once the cold is added then add the can of pineapple add about half of the can then all of the marshmallows. They will float on top. This is the top pan. The green Jell-O will always be on top.
  • Then Red Jell-O make as on the box hot and cold water, then add about 1 cup of walnuts and 1/2 can of cranberries, mix and chill. Then once chilled add all of the sour cream on top of the red Jell-O. Spread all over the red.
  • Then without breaking the mold take the green Jell-O and put it on top of the red Jell-O. The glass pan helps to see all the layers of color and it’s mmm good. The sour cream don't change it. It's what makes this dish. Try it.


My Christmas Jell-O comes from my Grandma Wright. She was born in Australia. She married my grandfather in the war. They brang my Dad to the USA when he was three. She also brang this wonderful Christmas Jell-O. When the holidays are here that's the only time of year we have this Jell-O. I do make it for Thanksgiving and Christmas, but it is called Christmas Jell-O. Christmas is a time for giving and I give this gift to all of you, my grandmother's Christmas Jell-O. Thanksgiving is a time for thanks. I'm thankful for knowing my wonderful Grandma.
