  • Season fillets, crab and mushrooms with blacken seasoning and salt. Use salt lightly. Then take fillets and lightly cover them with the flour on both sides. In an iron pan (preferred) cover bottom of pan with oil and heat. After oil is hot, fry fillets lightly careful not to fry to dark.
  • In a small pan place 1/4 stick of butter then blacken seasoned crab or lobster meat and mushrooms on medium heat and cook until done. Do not over cook!
  • While fish is frying put remaining butter, honey, lime and pecans in a sauce pan on med. heat and reduce until fish is done. Plate fish and lay crab meat on fillet and pour sauce over each fillet.

Special Equipment Needed


Serve with salad of choice and steamed veggies or potatoes. For a Spanish flare use yellow rice instead of potatoes.
