  • Preheat over to 350F. Lightly grease a 13x9x2-inch baking dish.
  • In a small skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion, and cook 3 to 4 minutes, or until soft. Pour mixture into a large bowl. Add sour cream and next 5 ingredients, mixing well. Stir in thawed hash browns.
  • Pour mixture into prepared baking dish. Top evenly with crushed chips. Bake 45 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.

Special Equipment Needed


Instead of using plain chips try using salt and vinegar chips, I personally think it is better. Save any leftovers for the next morning.....Just throw in a sauce pan with some cubed ham or meat of your choice and it is great for breakfast.
