  • Place shrimp in a colander and thaw per package instructions. At this time, start a large pot of water boiling for the pasta & vegetables. Place cubed cream cheese and Velveeta in a double boiler to melt; stir frequently, adding milk midway through process.
  • While shrimp is thawing, saute garlic, shallots, bacon and dressing in a large skillet until bacon is browned. Add pasta to boiling water and cook per package directions (about 12 minutes). Add frozen vegetable mix after pasta has been cooking about 5 minutes. Peel & rinse the shrimp. Add to the bacon mixture in skillet. Saute until shrimp turn pink, about 5 minutes.
  • Drain pasta & vegetables in a colander. Add to the skillet. Pour cheese sauce over vegetables and pasta. Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Serve immediately.

Special Equipment Needed


May substitute chicken in place of shrimp. Try using an Italian cheese in place of Velveeta.
