You can substitute 1 1/2 lb. of pork, cubed or boneless chicken, but I prefer thighs. It will fall off the bone it is so tasty and tender.
My whole family loved this and it was super easy.
Used boneless thighs 1.25 lbs and 1/2 small lemon and 1 small lime juiced, used 1/2 cup vidalia onions. filled my one quart crock pot. Had to thicken with constarch; Will cut back BBQ sauce next time, was too liguid.
I loved & so did the WHOLE family.But I added a can of green beans & served the BBQ crock pot chicken over rice pilaf. (i used knorrs "rice sides)
