  • Put chicken broth into pan or crock-pot. Add herbs, veggies, and chicken.
  • Set the crock-pot on Low, it's done in 6-7 hours.
  • To make in the oven, cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for about an hour.


This makes yummy broth to ladle over rice or you could make a 'gravy' if you strain out the softened veggies and add thickening in a small saucepan on the stove.

    This is so easy and delicious. After making this a second time, I found that basting the chicken with the juices/herbs a couple of times during cooking really made it good. Will be making this again very soon. I think the juices would be good with rice.
