  • Mix hamburger, dry soup mix, eggs, stuffing mix and water. You may not need all the water, or you may need more, you be the judge.
  • After mixing ingredients, make into 1 inch balls. Brown meatballs. After meatballs are browned put into crock-pot. Add mushrooms and 3 cans of cream of mushroom soup and 1 can of water. Cover and set on high.
  • Cook at 4 to 6 hours; turn down to low last half hour of cooking.


I usually double this recipe; I make half that day and freeze the other half of meatballs after browning. When I don't have time to cook, I can start the meatballs around noon and forget them until dinner time. I usually serve them with either noodles or rice, but they're great with mashed potatoes or by themselves.
