  • Soak chicken wings in cold salt water for 1 hour. Rinse and drain the water off well.
  • Then, combine 1 heaping cup of flour with 1 heaping teaspoon of salt. Shake the wings in this mixture a few at a time.
  • Fry chicken wings in grease until brown, a few at a time. Place them on a baking sheet; DO NOT CROWD THEM!
  • Bake at 400 degrees until almost crispy (15-20 minutes). Meanwhile, melt 1 cup butter, add 1/4 cup of hot sauce. Drizzle 1/2 of this over the chicken wings, return to oven for 5-10 minutes longer. Leave remaining butter/hot sauce mixture out for those who like a bit more of a kick!

When soaking chicken wings in cold salt water, you may add any spices of your choice for taste!

Cooked them up again. Wife says these wings are the best she's ever tasted. I have to admit they were fantastic
