  • Blend yogurt and water into thick consistency. Add grated cucumber, black pepper, salt, sugar, lemon juice and jalapenos and mix well.
  • Chill the raita for at least 2 hours before serving. If you do not like too much heat, you could eliminate the jalepeno.

Notes

This raita can be served with kebabs, pilaf and tandoori chicken.
