  • This actually takes 48 hours at least to make and be good.
  • Cook meat one day and cool.
  • Make sauce next day bring to a boil then simmer for 1/2 to 1 hour.
  • Then add shredded meat. Simmer all day. It's better the second day.

This is Ruth Kaiser Krupa's father, Willard Kaiser's, recipe. He was paid for this recipe when working for the BBQ in Muskegon, Michigan in the 1940's. The Kaiser Family had this along with Mom, Mills Kaiser's, potato salad on Christmas night when the family got together.
