  • Brown and crumble the sausage, DO NOT drain. Baking biscuits per directions on package.
  • To make the gravy (in separate bowl) gradually mix flour and milk by adding the milk a couple teaspoons at a time to the flour and stirring between each addition. This step is very important to get a smooth gravy. Add gravy to sausage in skillet on medium heat. Add salt & pepper. Stir constantly until it comes to a rolling bubble. Turn down to a simmer and continue stirring to desired thickness.
  • To serve each person pours sausage gravy over their biscuits.

Special Equipment Needed


After following the directions above, if the gravy still isn't thickening add a tablespoon of cornstarch. Change serving size by altering recipe using 2 heaping tablespoons of flour per cup of milk.
