  • Crush sandwich cookies. Mix with melted butter to make moist crumb mixture. Press cookie crumb mixture into bottom of glass pan. Make edges of crumb mixture slope up the sides of the pan slightly.
  • Thoroughly combine milk and pudding mix. Do not refrigerate. Whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Slowly mix the pudding into the heavy whipping cream. Mix thoroughly.
  • Spread pudding mixture over crust in 8" x 8" glass pan. Chill until firm. Spread whipped topping over pudding mixture. Dust lightly with unsweetened cocoa powder immediately before serving, if desired.

Special Equipment Needed

A teaspoon or two of artificial sweetener can be added to the heavy cream during whipping to sweeten the recipe. I served this at a summer party because my boyfriend is diabetic but it was so good everyone ate it. No one knew it was sugar-free until he said, "Why are you all eating my stuff?"
