  • Prepare crust as directed on package. Place on foil-lined backing sheet, press out any folds or creases. Mix 3/4 cup sugar, cornstarch & cinnamon in a medium bowl. Add sliced apples: toss to coat well.
  • Spoon apples into center of pie crust, spreading to within 2" from edges. Bring crust up over apples pleating or folding as needed, brush folded crust with egg white, sprinkle with 1 tsp. of sugar.
  • Bake in preheated oven 425°F 20 minutes or until apples are tender & crust is golden brown.

Special Equipment Needed


I used granny smith apples. I liked to serve this with either vanilla ice cream or my favorite, fresh whipped cream with no sugar added. This is such an easy recipe to make & you can use different fruits if you want. Great if you are pressed for time & need a quick & easy dessert.
